dear diary… *idea from @pagesbyrebecca * It’s been a while since I’ve straightened and curled my hair. My arms were sore after, but I look pretty and have been saying I wanted to do it and never did, so it’s a win. My crash outs are still…. Crashing. But, hey, at least I pick myself back up. Sometimes with help. 💖 Speaking of crash outs… I almost started my wip all over again. Luckily talked myself out of it and only did some light rewrites to the last two chapters I was working on. I even added a scene where the billionaire wakes up his wife, but she 🔪 him. Which is fair, because mf shouldn’t be waking her up in the middle of the night. That scene isn’t part of the sneak peek I sent to my team, BUT, I did send them stuff and I hope them get it soon so they can be just as obsessed as I am with Ace. 💖

You know how you don't want a book or series to end because in your head sometimes it feels like that's it, they're done? Same. But then I remember, just because a book or series is ending doesn't mean it's "the end." It never really is the end, it's more of a new beginning. And I think that's the beautiful thing about stories. Because even looking at Everett and Amie's story, Playing Cupid, I think it's done. Their story is over. But it's also the start of another's. So, here I am to ✨officially✨ announce (because I mentioned it once on my feed and multiple times in conversations) that I am working on Ace's story, the third billionaire! He showed up in Playing Cupid and I couldn't get enough of him. Apparently a lot of you couldn't either (@readingforbaddies and @cafeconromance looking at you two specifically 👀 ). Anyway, he was originally coming at the end of this year... but that's not happening so, I'm pushing him to 2027. Which gives you time to prepare for the swoons, the giggling, and the fighting you might end up doing to claim this man as yours. You might have noticed I haven't been around lately. There's a reason for that, but instead of giving you the rundown of it all... I'm keeping them to myself. 😈 Except one… I’m learning to be my biggest cheerleader. To just be and allow myself to be accepted for who I am. You know, like my stories are about. Because I can be too loud, too different, too annoying, too much. But that doesn’t mean it’s bad. And I’m allowed to take up space. It’s a work in progress. Slow, challenging, but worth it in the long run. So, I hope to finally be more me here. Weird. Quirky. Playful. Lover of long-ass captions. Still emotionally honest, but leaning into my chaos of talking about the little obsessions (okay, big obsessions) like my romance books. The characters. Their worlds. The tiny details nobody asked me about. Basically, I want to tell you all about these fictional people I created, became emotionally attached to, and can make your problem too (though, I guess that's more of a blessing than problem). Anyways, I’m done making myself small or letting fear dictate how I show up. And neither should you. So stick around, or don’t. No hard feelings. 💖 [image description embedded in alt text]
