For someone who hates talking about herself, Darlene seems to talk about herself a lot, sometimes in third person. Especially when she feels awkward. She often feels that way. Perks (or not) of growing up with disabilities, being told you’re different, and constantly feeling out of place, even when inside the room. So, she started writing about the love she wanted to give herself, the feelings she needed to explore in order to understand, and decided to share it. She’s big on intimate conversations, and she’s always there to listen or talk. People who know her constantly says she’s sweet. But in reality she’s a sour patch kid. First she’s sour then she’s sweet. Bonus points, she lets you past her surface leveled walls, you find a friend for life. Just don’t expect her to text you back right away. 😅
