Hi! I’m Darlene

Welcome to my little corner. I’m so happy you’re here!

Growing up, I always felt lonely. Living with TAR syndrome had me feeling different, judged, unseen, and unloved. So, I’d watch TV shows, movies, read books, listen to songs, and daydream about the what-ifs and scenarios in which I could be someone who was loved despite having a disability.

Soon enough, those daydreams turned into writing. It became a safe space to find my voice and myself when the world made me feel invisible.

My stories are filled with swoon-worthy moments that shine a light on vulnerability, hope, and the belief that we all deserve to be loved for who we are. Because we do.

Outside of stories, you can find me collecting books, begging my partner to take me to bookstores, sitting on the couch watching tv, reading, or singing at the top of my lungs.
